The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always there to assist us regardless of the time. They spoke excellent English and made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel had a traditional and cozy feel, with unique furnishings that were a refreshing change from the typical chain hotels. We loved the small Japanese beds in our room, perfect for two people. The on-site private onsen was a great addition, and we enjoyed using it. The hotel's location was very convenient, just one street away from Otori Park where the festivals take place. It was also close to a fantastic grill restaurant, a subway station, and an ATM Japanese bank. We appreciated the included breakfast and coffee service, and there was even a Family Mart nearby for any last-minute essentials.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

In a quiet backstreet yet very close to the centre, only one road back from Odori park makes it a great location for the snow festival. The size of the room was fine as we were there for two nights, stay a week and it would be a bit small. I'm 6ft2 and we had no problem with the bed. You get what you pay for.

The hotel's Japanese decor was attractive for the price and offered competitive value for money. The onsite parking and good breakfast were convenient amenities. Its location in the shopping district adds to the appeal for a Sapporo holiday.

Unbeatable location, fantastic decor. We visited odori park that was 5 minutes’ walk away. Rooms were impeccable, they met what was needed. Not far from sapporo tv tower, 15 minutes' walk to Sapporo train station.

The location is perfect and the lady at the frontdesk (who we suspect must also be the owner--we failed to get her name) is super nice and is a fluent english speaker, so it was always so easy to talk to her and ask her directions. We really love her. She was so concerned when the cab we took couldn't find the hotel and she called for a cab for us and negotiated with the cab driver to allow the five of us to fit in the cab. She also gave us very good recommendations on places to see and eat. We felt at home there.

Great location, walking distance to major attractions and restaurants. Reasonable price for the weekend stay. Rooms were generally clean with fresh towels.
Rooms lacked any modern amenities, outdated furnishings and small beds. the air conditioning was difficult to regulate leaving the room uncomfortably warm at night.

Spent Christmas in a cozy hotel close by the annual winter festival. The staff here was amazing, super friendly and attentive. The traditional Japanese-style room was comfortable and clean, and the private onsen was perfect after a chilly day outside. , the breakfast was included and had a great selection of local dishes to try. Plus, the location was unbeatable; just a short walk to the festival and the city's main shopping areas.
The entrance hall could use a bit of an update, and the room heating was a bit too warm for our liking. However, these were minor issues in an otherwise wonderful experience.
